Run Multiple Strategies

A strategy in ChartBridge is a named connection with its own EA Token. Alerts sent with that EA Token go only to the EA using it.

Each strategy connects to one MetaTrader 5 terminal. To run several TradingView strategies or indicators, create one strategy for each and connect each to its terminal. Many strategies can run across many terminals.

Do not reuse one EA Token on several terminals or accounts. Create a separate strategy for each.

Create a strategy

1. Open Strategies in the ChartBridge Portal.
2. Click Create Strategy.
3. Enter a Strategy Name (up to 100 characters), for example Trend Momentum FX.
4. Click Create Strategy.
5. Copy the new strategy's EA Token with the copy button in the EA Token column.

Connect the strategy to MetaTrader 5

1. In MetaTrader 5, attach the ChartBridge EA to a chart (see Install EA).
2. Paste the strategy's EA Token into the EA Token input and click OK.
3. Back on the Strategies page, the strategy's Status changes to Active and Active Connections shows the connection.

Use that strategy's EA Token in the TradingView alerts for that strategy.

Run several strategies on one MetaTrader 5 account

1. Open a separate chart for each strategy.
2. Attach the ChartBridge EA to each chart.
3. Give each EA the EA Token of its own strategy.
4. Give each EA a different Magic Number (for example 50 on the first chart and 51 on the second).
5. Keep Power Mode Off on every EA, so each EA only manages the trades it opened.

Read the Strategies page

• Strategy Name: the name you gave the strategy.
• EA Token: the token to paste into the EA and use in alerts.
• Active Connections: how many terminals are connected with this strategy's EA Token.
• Status: Active when at least one terminal is connected, Inactive when none is.
• Created: when the strategy was created.

At the top of the page you can see the total number of strategies, how many are active and inactive, and how many connections you are using out of your plan's limit (currently 10 connections). Use the search box and status filter to find a strategy.

Delete a strategy

1. Click the delete action on the strategy's row.
2. Confirm Delete Strategy.

Deleting cannot be undone. It permanently ends all active EA connections for that strategy.
